A downloadable game for Windows

Welcome to Bug Box, a dungeon crawler roguelike about bugs! You are a spider who has been trapped inside a box, and you have to shoot webs to defeat other bugs, get items, and get outside the box. Each of the other bugs have their own unique quirks, however, so you have to learn how to defeat each one.

This game was made in March for the Bad Ideas Game Jam 2026, and it is the first game jam I have been in.

Install instructions

Choose either the installer or the zip file.

To use the zip file, extract it, then run the exe file. If it says "Windows protected your PC", then press "More info", then "Run anyway". The reason why it may do this is because it's a file Windows doesn't recognize.

To use the installer, run it, follow the instructions, and it will then be installed.
